Over 16 years, Hiba worked for 3 of the largest telecommunications companies, British Telecom, France Telecom and SITA, where she successfully managed large-scale complex projects for global customers such as Procter & Gamble, Japan Airlines, Raytheon, DHL and Cisco. She also provided training to international teams located in Paris, London, Singapore, and Montreal.

Through this journey, Hiba discovered how communication can influence one’s success, both in business & in personal life. Learning from her field experience and from her great mentors, she created 3 successful programs that attendees are raving about.

Hiba is fluent in English, French, Arabic, and proficient in Spanish.

The Story

As a young Engineer, Hiba began her professional career by working for SITA (“Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques"), a company that provides international telecommunications and networking services for airlines.

A year after joining SITA, Hiba's senior management pushed her into taking a management position. Although grateful for their initiative, she was hesitant at first. However, she quickly began to enjoy the challenge of managing diverse global teams, where she succeeded in leading her teams to create solutions, resolve conflicts, fix technical problems, and contribute to business growth.

Through work, Hiba has had the opportunity to travel to Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, living her passion for solving problems while discovering new cultures and new places. She has driven large-scale, complex technical initiatives while:

• Employed by 3 of the largest Telecommunications companies in the world:  British Telecom, France Telecom (Equant), and SITA;

• Providing outstanding service to major customers, such as:  Procter & Gamble, Raytheon, Japan Airlines, DHL, Bank of New York, Hanjin Shipping, Globalstar, and many others;

• Directing projects while collaborating with major suppliers, such as: Cisco, AT&T, Verizon, Level3, Bell Canada, KDD, SingTel, and many others.

Hiba founded her own consulting & coaching business in March of 2008, in Redondo Beach, California.

While enjoying life in Southern California with her husband, family & friends, Hiba has been actively involved in community services; previously volunteering with the Red Cross, and currently with the Project Management Institute (Hiba is a founding member & the Chair of the very first PMI Bookclub) as well as with Toastmasters International (club President, Area Governor, District Coaching Chair).
